In Need Of Major Overhaul

Hantu Laut

It's about time Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak take a serious look inside the workings of both enforcement agencies, the Malaysian Police and the MACC (Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission).

The MACC over zealousness of probing into the conduct of opposition politicians on the flimsiest of complain and keep their eyes shut on corrupt BN leaders is throwing spanner in the works.Najib good work will eventually come to naught if these selective persecutions are allowed to continue. The MACC must be seen to be fair and carry out their work without fear or favour.

As of now they are seen as secret police of the government which goes entirely against the purpose of its formation.People's perception, real or imagine, can make or destroy a government.

Both agencies seriously need major overhaul in mindset

Below is part of Najib's inauguration speech:

"In the coming weeks, I will be consulting with people around our country, as I begin to reshape the leadership and priorities of the Government. I am mindful that we should build on the successes and lessons of the past. It must be a government with new approaches for new times – a government that places a priority on performance, because the people must come first".

"I am aware that the people expect me to do certain things. Please judge me by my actions. My actions will come in due course."

The Prime Minister is trying his best to reach out to the people and he must not let these two agencies spoil his efforts.

I have no words to describe all those Umno idiots, investigating the officers and the BN government.

I cried for all Malaysians because I don't see any hope that our nation can give any future to our next generations to come!

When you believe in God, you would value life! These BN idiots claim to have faith but don't value one's life, where will they end up in after life! God judge!

I am with you HL. Can Najib get the message? Will the self serving gatekeepers allow Najib to clean up? Will there be another cover up?

I am beyond outrage. When agencies and the police are suppose to protect the innocent and bring to book the corrupt and blatant lawbreakers.

God save our beloved country.

you claimed to be an old man

but blinkered like an old bat under the bright sun light, you do not seem to understand the BN machinery are rotten to the core starting many years ago, and yet like a naive 3 yr old, you still have hope in the smelly fish head and quoting him day in and day out about what he said in zest for the common people to listen and hopefully believe in !

The PR supporters mostly in general
realized the shortcomings of the coalition, but between these shortcomings and the devilishness of BN, the choice is so much more easy to pick !

A young man life was snuffed out, and 3 days down, all they can come out is he died due to the height of fall ! Ever wonder why the 2 agencies can behave this way ? It is so easy to blaim the 2 agencies and how it betrayed the government of the day, but, have it ever cross your mind, the rots in these two major government agencies can be in these state is solely because their power has been abused by the very same executives that you said had their reputation tarnished by them ?

By the way, what's the difference between me using Annonymous as my nickname for this comment and you using Hantulaut to blog ?

1. Whatever DS Najib and the Cabinet would decide to do in respect to certain aspects of the Standard Operation Procedure of the PDRM and the SPRM, they should be guided by the Legislative Acts passed by the Parliament of this country and not because of political expediency or political pressure.

The PM and his Cabinet's job is to govern Malaysia the best they can possibly do, they have to make the tough but necessary decisions for the benefit of majority Malaysians and not just to pander to the loud minority. If Government decisions are based on populist consideration only this country will go down the drain that's for sure.

2. Whatever the outcome of the tragic death of Mr Teoh, the ongoing SPRM investigation of the six Selangor DAP ADUNS should continue to its end. I think there is more to these events then meets the eye. If the ADUNs have done nothing wrong then they should not worry. DAP is not national sacred cow that their ADUNs or officials cannot be investigated. SPRM should not be intimidated by political pressure from any political parties whether they are BN, DAP, PKR or PAS.

Many Malaysians may be unaware or they have short memories..mudah lupalah, actually UMNO is continuously weaning their leadership who have stepped over the limits of the law:

For example Anwar Ibrahim when he was Deputy Prime Minister and Timbalan Presiden UMNO was charged for abuse of power for ordering some members of the police to intimidate witnesses to retract their statements. Anwar was charged under Section 2 of the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance No. 22 of 1970 at the High Court of Malaya at Wilayah Persekutuan on 14 April 1999 on four charges of corruption. Anwar was found guilty of the said charges, convicted and sentenced to 6 years imprisonment on each charge, with the sentences being ordered to run concurrently.

His appeal to the Federal Court to overturn his sentence was dismissed on 15 September 2004.

In case some people are not aware Anwar Ibrahim is the biggest UMNO fish caught for abuse of power by the PDRM. You see PDRM is doing their job, they are Malaysia's unsung heroes. Of course Anwar say its just a political conspiracy, I say the fish rots from the head, and the head has been chopped off, so Anwar is now PKR advisor and Opposition Leader, the head continues to rot but on a different fish I guess.

Teoh sacrificed himself to draw away the heat on the investigations by the MACC into DAP's connection to the underworld .
I call upon the MACC to fully disclose their investigations into the misuse of funds by DAP's excos and the PDRM on their investigations into Wee Choo Keong's police report to see the connection there .
It has been revealed that the underworld has their connections to powers that be to secure lucrative licenses for their karaoke's , pubs , massage parlours and ayam centres that are approve by the state authorities .

As Hantu Laut wrote which I quote below :
In this kind of situation everyone should keep a cool head and let thorough investigation be carried out first before making any conclusion.I do agree the MACC may be indirectly responsible for detaining and interrogating him beyond the normal hours but I see no plausible explanation for the MACC to be made responsible for his dead.

If foul play is suspected than DAP may have to look inside its own nest instead of pointing finger at the MACC.Who would want him dead? Certainly, not the MACC. As a witness he is better alive than dead.Maybe, Wee Choo Keong wasn't lying about the underworld connection of some lawmakers.

If foul play is suspected and as in any criminal investigation the first suspect would be those link to the crime under investigation. The police must not leave any stone unturned, they must investigate the case from all angles to be fair to the deceased family, the government and the Prime Minister.

I suspect rogue officers are involved , those who have their connections to the underworld , and those who are paid by these bosses . Same as in Mexico where you'll find federal agents being executed on a daily basis .
If the MACC was responsible , my question is this ..would they have left the body within the MACC compound for everyone to lay blame on themselves ? Its sure plain stupidity , but if its purposely left there for MACC to take the full blame , then it becomes the smartest move by those rogue officers .
In all govt agencies whether they be the Civil Servise , Special Branch , MACC or PDRM there are two factions within them , one for the govt and the other supporting the Opposition . That accounts for the fact that some bloggers are able to get memos , letters , SDs , police reports and documents deemed confidential and have them shown in their articles to support their accusation that there was a cover up ..etc..etc..

At last you are admitting what Najib needs to do! Well said!

Chua Jui Meng has just said this (I think this sums up the basic reason why Malaysians support the PR):-

We see the abuse of power in the use of the federal institutions to harass, persecute and prosecute the leaders of the opposition, institutions that were supposed to protect the rights of the citizens of Malaysia.
The tragic death of 30-year-old Teoh Beng Hock is the consequence of one such institution (MACC) going overboard in its action. The seizure of power in Perak, the wooing of PAS by UMNO to form a unity government based on race and religion, the farcical persecution and prosecution of Anwar Ibrahim once again for sodomy despite the reports of two hospitals – one from General Hospital Kuala Lumpur – to the contrary, all these are indicative of a pattern of attempts to topple this precious two-party system.

If Najib does not do something about the "idiots" under him, it will only be a matter of time before they take him under (no need for the PR to do anything).

Today , many of those people associated with the underworld , the triads , the gangsters have left the MCA for greener pastures as the MCA could no longer protect them having lost control of Selangor and Penang .
They have seek greener pastures in the current party controling Selangor and Penang and many have joined DAP and that is a sure fact . I have seen them as I know they were former MCA members who joined MCA when Ong Ka Ting was the President , that was the time when the Wah Kees and the Sio Sam Ongs was prevalent , now walking hand in hand with the DAP .
Even Lim Kit Siang chose to demonise Ong Tee Keat for the PKFZ woes , the one who did his best to reveal the PKFZ fiasco , however he is absolutely silent on Chan Kong Choy , the ex minister who is responsible for the three letters of guarantee that brought PKFZ to its knees , any idea why he has dared not venomously implicate CKC ? Check out with the people in Bentong and ask them who is the taikor of the Wah Kee Triad in Bentong and you'll get an answer .

DAP Triads said...

Should also ask Lim Guan Eng who has now been his financial officer and now good buddy buddy in arms ?
A Tan Sri businessman formerly from Gerakan who has strong connections or is the number one Peh Triad in Penang . Ya so DAP has no underworld connections ? Better ask Wee Choo Keong .
Those who believe the DAP are angels , better wash your eyes with eyemo .
Even devils can hide themselves by turning into angels .

I am rather surprised that he CJM brought up this issue on the tragic death of 30-year-old Teoh Beng Hock is the consequence of one such institution (MACC) going overboard in its action as one of the reasons for him to join PKR , really surprised . I think he has run out of reasons or other better issues to give . As a lawyer , he has jumped the gun and concluded the issue hearing from unsubstantiated reports and rumours .

I wished to state my stand on this issue as it was brought up by him , Chua Jui Meng in one of our recent conversation .
I wished to categorically say that my voting for the opposition in the last GE was not out of like or love for the opposition but rather a protest vote from the arrogance of certain BN parties and the Party President for refusing to field candidates who had won with big margins in the previous GE and choosing to field untested candidates from his backyard .
There were also several issues that I until today do not see eye to eye with you .
With your advancing age , I am wondering how you can possibly contribute to a party that has ideological differences especially that you are a very staunch Born Again Christian who preaches that all animals have no soul while condemning all those idol worshipers as devil worshipers and that those who do not accept your faith are condemned to hell . Would you say this to your PAS bethrens now that you are in Pakatan ?
So Dato Chua JM of luck to you .

Teoh Beng Hock frightened of Ronni Liu & Ean Yong Hian Wah

After Teoh Beng Hock finish giving statement to MACC at 3:45 am the question is why he did not go home? This is a big question. Teoh was not alone in the MACC office. Tan Boon Wah the Pakatan ahli majlis bandaran from Kajang was also being questioned. And there was one more person, a Chinese contractor, who was also questioned. So two more people were present other than Teoh Beng Hock.

Teoh was frightened to leave the MACC office. Because there may be people waiting for him outside or even inside the Masalam building. He feel safer staying inside the MACC office until morning again.

Tan Boon Wah say that he saw Teoh waking up from the sofa at 6:00 am in the morning. Tan said that Teoh did not talk to him. Tan is lying. During the questioning session which started at about 5pm and ended at 3:45 am, Teoh Beng Hock gave a lot of information to the MACC. This include information on Ronni Liu's connection with the kongsi gelap and Chinese underworld. Also the connection between kongsi gelap and Ean Yong Hian Wah.

Were Ronniu Liu and Ean Yong Hian Wah getting worried about Teoh Beng Hock's revelations to the MACC about their connections to the kongsi gelap?

The question raised by YB Wee Choo Keong is also important : why does Ronni Liu behaving like a kera kena belachan by jumping here and there over this case. Even before Teoh Beng Hock died, Ronni Liu was jumping up and down about Wee Choo Keong's statement about underworld kongsi gelap connections with Pakatan wakil rakyats.

This is why Ronni Liu is trying to act a drama like a big hero defending Teoh Beng Hock. Actually Ronni Liu is trying to distract the attention of the people from what YB Wee Choo Keong said about connection between kongsi gelap and Pakatan wakil rakyat. Ronni kicking the door, shouting and main kung fu is just acting only - to cover up.

There is a gap of about 7 1/2 hours from the time Tan Boon Wah last saw Teoh Beng Hock alive at 6:00 am and the time he was found dead at 1:30 pm. Did Teoh Beng Hock receive any phone calls or sms from Ronni Liu or Ean Yong Hian Wah scolding him or threatening him if he gave too much information to the MACC?

If Ronni Liu spoke to Teoh Beng Hock at anytime between 6 am and 1:30 pm of the day Teoh died, then can Ronni Liu please tell everyone and also tell the Police investigating this case. There must not be any cover up. If Teoh was killed by the Chinese kongsi gelap or if because he felt too much pressure from Ronni Liu, then the public must know about it.

KUALA LUMPUR: Teoh Beng Hock is "worth more to us alive than dead", according to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission as he was a key witness in an ongoing case.

But worth more to somebody that he is dead.

See how those Pakatan people capitalist and politicize Teoh death, they use such means and opportunity to subvert the government. so who have vest interest?

You ask where are CJM followers.

It is normal for followers to wait until the leader has taken the

Watch the avalanche coming in the next few months! You'll have your wish!

As to Triad connections etc, other than some allegations by Wee, neither the MACC or Police have mentioned a single word about it. So, what's your source. And remember Wee did not name Ronie Liu, but others jumped to the conclusion.

Why are you all so keen to bring back the corrupt (uninvestigated yet) $24 million Disneyland dentist and his crooks who have been plundering the state coffers for years?

You ask where are CJM followers.
Well I hope we can bring up this issue again in say three months time ? If its OK with you its OK with me and lets see how many crosses over .
I don't think I am wrong cause what I am saying is with inside info and not pure speculation . I am one of his most loyal supporters in Penang and I have told him , SORRY !!!
As to Triad connections etc I fully agree with DAP Triad who have spoken very accurately on the issue . I need not say more .

The Pakatan folks want to convince us that they have the ability to administrate and rule the country, but they fail disastrously. On Teoh death, they simply and quickly jump into conclusion to blame the government without proper investigation and taking into consideration the many aspect. Their actions and behavior demonstrate that they are equal to barbarian who do not understand reasoning. That tell you a lot about them what will happen if they rule the country ?

Lagi cerita ..
If you have not visited Batu Ferringhi , the in place of pirated DVDs , try going there for a visit . Ask any DVD peddler along that tourist spot what party they are from ??
Who's their taikor ?
FYI , their taikor who runs the biggest stall selling pirated DVDs and goes by the nickname of kong hu kia or cantonese boy is on the DAP committee for Batu Ferringhi and so are the koncos who are members of the DAP for protection against the raids by the domestic ministry .
Jacky Chan's right hand man is now the Big boss in charge of the hawker centre in Gurney Drive .
Need I say more ?

1. SM, is there such a thing as a two party system in Malaysia? The PKR,PAS and DAP loose coalition is still in sixes and sevens on their political common platform. There is no clear leadership as everybody talks about their own agenda. Hadi talks about unity Government, Lim talk about DAP and its interests and Anwar talks about political conspiracy against him. Get real, it still is BN against the loose coalition of PAS,DAP and PKR.

2. Chua Jui Meng when he left for PKR has betrayed at least 23 years of trust that the MCA members and BN has on him. He is just a broken old man who thinks too highly of himself and cannot reconcile to the fact that he contested for the President post and lost twice to two different persons in a row.

CJM first PKR speech was not written by him, just look at his uncomfortable face when he read it out. Anyway this is a democracy he is free to choose his party, I hope PKR treats him as well as MCA and BN had treated and rewarded him all these years.

Underworld is there as long as human civilization. You think there were no underworld activities during TDM time?

I don't know why so many UMNO ball carriers are jumping to conclusions about DAP's link to underworld. To certain extent, if without underworld support, don't think DAP, PR can win big during last election. Same goes for MCA/Gerakan fellas in the past.

Don't be naive, underworld is interested in doing business although theirs is outlawed business. They are not much into killing off people nowadays. At least not like the days where you have many gang fights etc.

But you think there were no Malay underworld? I heard mr sleepy head also belongs to one very prominent one. Anyone can verify?

Most people like to jump the gun and start accusing DAP or whichever party. I think it should be about how good and transparent is their systems of checks and balances. That way, they can't unnecessarily syphon our money etc. Otherwise, if a figurehead of the underworld were to win a tender by normal means without any hanky panky, are we going to forfeit his rights to the contract just because we think he is involved in underworld? Get real lah! Everyone is trying to make a living. Sometimes circumstances lead us to join certain groups etc. sometimes for business and sometimes for mutual protection and interest.

What do you think of our PDRM and MACC's modus operandi? Doesn't it border mafia if they are not already so?
