As a result of his poor English he has disseminated wrong message to the public and created chaos in the seditious case against DAP leader Karpal Singh.
Well, read the piece below from fugitive blogger Raja Petra on bad English and the 'bodoh sombong' culture among some Malaysians which in Malay would mean 'orang yang tidak mahu belajar dan tidak mahu diajar.
Worse, the smart-aleck or pretender of know-it-all refused to ask what they don't know.
In Sabah we have one word for it 'temberang'

DAP chairman Karpal Singh was cleared of sedition today without his defence being called.
The Bukit Gelugor MP was charged with sedition last year for saying the Sultan of Perak could be taken to court over the removal of Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin as the mentri besar.
The High Court here found the prosecution had failed to prove it had a case against him.
In his decision today, judge Azman Abdullah noted that the news reporters, key witnesses and police involved did not understand English and the meaning of sedition. -- The Malaysian Insider

Well, I honestly believed that Karpal Singh should not have been charged on such flimsy evidence in the first place. Anyway it will make the khalsa warrior choose his words carefully next time so it would not be interpreted differently.
I personally like his Anwar mesti bertaubat statement, that was straightforward and direct. Another one concerning PAS's intention to set up an Islamic State he said "Over my dead body".
Ya Bro, Karpal the fearless I hope he soldiers on, Malaysian politics and the legal world is not the same without him.
When are we going to make the law written in Bahasa Kebangsaan?
I am sure same keturunan pendatang would find it not so easy to twist or manipulate the law if it is in BM.

If you listen to those so-called BN leaders, you'll hear them spekong Bahasa lintang pukang. Their England no need to elaborate lah!
I have a feeling Mamakfler cannot speak nor write Bahasa that well but he doesn't need to anyway. He's not Melayu anyhow. He has kadams to it for him.
Most of the Malay leaders when speaking off the cuff can't build anything beyond a simple sentence in Malay or English.
Is there any need to? When you can employ brute power why use any lingo when a fist will do?
Whats the big deal about not being able to speak England well?
If you are a Malaysian citizen and not able to speak Bahasa Melayu, then it would be shameful.
The Japanese, Russian, French and Koreans speaking lintang pukang England also, but they get by with thechnological advancement equally good.
Take a leaf from the Indons, Thais, Japanese. They have all public sinages in their native language given the due respect or prominence that the mother language deserves. Then in small translation in England or other languages.
