The protesters, some carrying swords, screamed, "Shame, shame on the U.K.!" and "Kill her, kill her by firing squad." They were calling for the death of Gillian Gibbons, the teacher who was sentenced on Thursday to 15 days in jail. Under Sudanese law, she could have spent 6 months behind bars and received 40 lashes.Full story...
With a government they deserved, the people of Sudan are doomed to this act of barbarism for many generations to come.A misconstrued and misguided interpretations of Islamic practices by half-baked imams, mullahs and those stupid enough to think they knew enough to dispense advices to people ill-equipped to think for themselves.
Can you blame the non-Muslims for the fear, anxiety and condemnation of the religion?
What about the Muslims who took up the name Mohammad, are they desecrating the Prophet's name, should all of them be executed ?

Hantu Laut,
Ya Allah, I know the act of naming the teddy bear Muhamad by the seven year old was not an act of disrespect. It could have been an act of love. No wonder the people of Sudan remains the way they are, backward and shall I say barbaric. Definitely what the protestestors did won't be endearing to non muslims and will scare them to death of such people as the Sudanese. I hope no silly Malaysians will emulate them and call for her death too.
Zawi,
All I can say is, I am chilled to the bone, shocked and angry. She is probably safer in prison, otherwise, the mob would have slaughtered her.
Tell you the truth, for some crooked reason i do hope that this does happen in Malaysia. So that "that" person with two Muhamad in his name could be sentenced to die twice.
scwlim,
The man with the two Muhammads seemed to have political immortality. In spite of his many indiscretions, he is still around. He is probably indestructible.
So, according to these stupid Sudanese, millions of Malay Muslims must be executed for having Muhammad in the lead of their given names.
No wonder they got the Darfur catastrophe.
