Zawi,
In the true spirit of being Malaysians, we must share the joy of all ethnic festivals together irrespective of our different ethnic and religious background.

Pak Lah should set leadership by example and take immediate action to remove that overzealous and arrogant custom officer who seized Bibles at the airport. He should be given a desk job, where he can do less harm.

HL,

Yes, you are right. However, Pak Lah has been conspicuously silent in his dealings with his people.
They have been doing all sorts of rubbish & he has barely (if at all) said anything about it.
All he (& his deputy) says nowadays is let's unite, BN will take care of all the races, Let's be friends, tell your children to be friends with children of other races, BN is the only one who can unite us all the races (notice the Racial content in most of their speeches) & other GE rhetoric. The "real" issues are left out completely (Racial disunity, NEP, Police Corruption, NON-Transperancy, Body Snatching, Bible confiscating, etc).
I doubt anyone believes what Pak Lah says anymore (it's sad as I really think he is an honest & good man but it's clear now that he cannot control his minions).
I have always been very "reasonable" in my thoughts & dealings with other races but even I (to my utter shame) have said stupid racially degratory statements! I firmly believe that "Bangsa Malaysia" is the only way forward for us (but then again as long as the BN is in power, sorry lah, that is not going to happen!).
Gong XI Fa Cai & Allah bless Malaysia & guide us this coming GE!

SM,
Sometimes,I wonder whether our leaders vetted the speeches prepared for them before they deliver it to the public.

Our PM has made speeches that he shouldn't have made. Things like "Don't say I didn't work, I work very hard" shouldn't be said at all. It's for other people to the judgement. He can also be conradictory and inconsistence.

Racial and religious harmony has deteriorated very badly under his leadership.Partly due to his fault and to a greater extent the smear campaign against him.

I believe the ex PM has been quite successful in destroying Badawi's image and there are those in government who are not happy with him, purposely took unpopular actions to harm his administration and his leadership.

His ambitious son-in-law, a thorn in the flesh, worsen the situation.

HL,

Exactly. The first thing AAB should do is "rein-in" KJ! That guy is "making hay while the sun shines!". As long as his Father-in-law is PM he's doing what he wants & nobody (especially the PM) is doing anything to stop him.

SM,
I heard right now he is the most unpopular man in this country, but if your father-in-law is the PM, people will suck up to you, I suppose.

Mahathir didn't seem to have that problem before, with his sons or son-in-law.
