Proxigean Spring Tide And Apollo 40 Years

Hantu Laut

During the last 400 years, there have been 39 instances or 'Extreme Proxigean Spring Tides' where the tide-producing severity has been near the theoretical maximum. The last one of these was on March 7 1995 at 22:00 hours Greenwich Time during a lunar Full Moon. There were, in fact cases of extreme tidal flooding recorded during these particular spring tides which occur once every 31 years.

An usually high tide of 20 to 30 percent is expected from today until 23rd July and residents living along the coasts are advised to take precaution. Those with houses on stilts over the sea are being advised to move out for the duration of the highest tide. The high tide coupled with strong wind and high waves would be dangerous for those living close to the shoreline.

Kota Kinabalu and other areas nearby should expect strong wind and high waves pounding its shoreline.

Today, 40 years ago men set foot on the moon.Launched on July 16, 1969, it carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong ,Command Module Pilot Michael Collins , and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr.

On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above .

Tides are caused by the gravitational interaction between the Earth and the Moon. Tides are the cyclic rising and falling of Earth's ocean surface caused by the tidal forces of the Moon and the Sun acting on the Earth .The relative distance of the Moon from the Earth also affects tide heights. When the Moon is at perigee the range is increased and when it is at apogee the range is reduced.

Quake and Tsunami Predicted on July 22 2009
Hello there. I just wanted to let you know that please stay away from the beaches all around in the month of July. There is a prediction that there will be another tsunami or earthquake hitting on 22 July 2009. It is also when there will be sun eclipse. Predicted that it is going to be really bad and countries like Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), Singapore, Maldives, Australia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Philippines are going to be badly hit. Please try and stay away from the beaches in July. Better to be safe than sorry. Please pass the word around. Please also pray for all beings.
6+ Magnitude Quake on 22 July 2009 at 3:00 pm Local Japanese time. This will be follower by two level 5+ Earthquakes and a Tsunami between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The tsunami will start out in the pacific ocean (to the South East of Japan ... Along the fault line) and hit all the islands to the south west of Japan, Indonesia and even reach New Zealand. The major quakes will actually be along the fault lines in the Ocean.
The theory that the gravitational pull of the Sun and Moon pulling together will do the following things. 1. Lift the tectonic plates
2. Cause the tide to rise more than usual 3. Cause an underground molten magma tide to dip and raise the plates following the water tide.
The theory is based on gravitation pull and the earth's tectonic plates A solar eclipse means that the moon is blocking the sun. The moon has enough gravitational pull to cause the tides other natural phenomena on earth. The sun has enough gravitational pull to keep the earth in orbit. The theory is that during a solar eclipse, the moon has the Sun's added pull on the earth's tectonic plates. When the Sun and Moon are together on one side of the planet, they pull together and lift up the earth's tectonic plate, just beneath the eclipse. This causes the plate to shift upward, and then an earth quake when the lifted plate gets the little extra push (lift) it needed to move over its neighboring plate. The theory may be hair brained, or it might actually have some pull to it. (pun intended) I'd like to do a simulator game to find out.

On Wednesday, 22 July 2009, a total eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses half of Earth. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. After leaving mainland Asia, the path crosses Japan's Ryukyu Islands and curves southeast through the Pacific Ocean where the maximum duration of totality reaches 6 min 39 s. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes most of eastern Asia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Ocean.

Thanks for the updates Bro HL and Chaptokam. Very useful info indeed.

Malaysia under Umno was, is and will forever be a basket case. What we see now as development and progress are merely internal consumption.

Unless the government commits to real change and wiping out of the current rot in Umno, Malaysia is slowly but surely spiraling downwards towards being a pariah country.

True………. it is very true……….

The malays are actually digging their own grave and they are trying to dig a deeper and bigger one now……….

But all of them I have to see are being manipulated by certain top malay politicians so they will support them……….

That shows there the general malays are quite stupid and can't think outside the box……….

Lying, incompetent, hypocrite, faking, denial, crook, corrupt, unjust, stupid, pretending, all these words are apt to describe them Umno.

How on earth Malaysia could sink low low low!

chaptokam,

The earthquake and tsunami, I am not sure, because we still don't have the mechanism to predict earth quake yet. Those predictions spread on the Internet are at best just a theory.

You still should stay away from the coastline if possible because of the very high tide.As you say better to take precaution than being sorry later.

The proxigean spring tide is caused by the moon coming closest to earth(perigee)and in line with the sun and earth

reek,cooloc and vesewe,

You are in the wrong forum.

Sorry Bro HL but couldn't resist this;

reek, cooloc, vesewe this posting is about Proxigean Spring Tide and Apollo 40 yearslah. You guys salah tajuklah, if you guys have nothing better to say, instead of ranting and calling UMNO or the malays all sort of names which would not change anything, why don't you do something useful like finding a nice quiet corner in your house, squat down and suck your thumb. Better then wasting valuable bytes in cyberspace.

reek,cooloc and vesewe,
same person lah posting under all these aliases . See his posting in Ti lian Ker's blog , aston , Boleh , yuking , San , kentanjim , honyang , fargowin , coolooc. eight of them within a few minutes in between postings . I have a gut feeling who he is .....

DAP Triad, I have my suspicions as well that is why I group them together. Thanks for the heads up bro.
