More Turmoil In PKR Sabah, Christina Liew Quits The Party

Hantu Laut

PKR supreme council member and wanita chief Christina Liew quit the party today, citing the party disregard of her contributions as the reason.

She is probably one of the most untainted politicians in Sabah and certainly a big loss to PKR.

More to come

HL,

Yup! Agreed...good news for BN. However, if what you say about Christina is true, i.e. she's one of the most untainted Politicians in Sabah (I guess you should know better), then I guess she won't be joining any BN party either!!!!!

HL,

By the way, before your UMNO supporters start cheering, if I'm not mistaken, Liew says se will still be a Party Member & remain the Head of the PKR Kota Kinablau Division (so basically she has NOT quit the party...just her Supreme Council seat).
Maybe you want to check your sources again?

its about time, she deserve better recognisition. PKR main goal is not about helping the Sabahan, they just using Sabahan to help them win the GE nxt time and bring Anwar Ibrahim to Putrajaya, that's all my fellow Sabahan.

SM,
Both Jeffery and Christina have resigned from the Supreme Council.

"My mum (mother) had to take the public humiliation of me being replaced (deputy chairman) for unknown reasons. I worked so hard for the last nine years to promote Sabah PKR. Since the party has disregarded my contribution, I will bow out with dignity now," she said.

Do you think she would stay as member for long. This is a prelude to her final exit from PKR.

I have met Christina many times and she has strong character.I have even climbed Mount Kinabalu with her and she is a brave lady.

I sympathise with her, I think what Anwar did was cruel, dumped her just like that after almost 10 years with PKR.

Isn't PKR a party which espouses transparency and democracy and freedom of speech etc. Looks like another cakap tak serupa bikin courtesy of PKR non card carrying member and Advisor the smooth talking Anwar Ibrahim.

PKR is dying with rumors swirling also that its Sec-Gen is also resigning...maybe PKR's epitaph should be written already.."here lies a party that was supposed to be the torch bearer of liberal democracy in Malaysia but alas it was not to be"

It's no big deal if PKR is a goner, there will always be a new party and another and another to go on with fighting against BN until BN is defeated. Sabah will be free only when BN is defeated and we all know that when BN is defeated in Sabah and Sarawak, the BN of the Peninsular will start to crumble.

So don't just say PKR is using Sabahans to win the next GE, say BN is so very much dependent on East Malaysians to remain in power that keep the people of Sabah and Sarawak forever under invasion!

HL,

Yes, I agree with you, she may very well quit soon.
In Jeffrey's case, I don't blame DSAI...once a frog always a frog & in Jeffrey's case, he has been frogging around a long time (not to mention his "alleged" involvment in trying to get Sabah out of Malaysia...I think he was investigated for that...not sure what was the outcome).
In Liew case...well...I don't understand why DSAI did that. For sure there's some Internal Politics concerned. I can't accept that DSAI will do anything to spil his chances of winning in Sabah but...!
As Eddy said, if it's not PKR, it will be someone else & until these bloody Peninsular Malaysians (geeeze...that includes me I guess!) wake up & smell the coffee...Sabah & Sarawak will never be united with the West Malaysians!
