Change BERSIH Walk To Demand Anwar's Resignation

Hantu Laut

The highest moral crime a man could have committed against a nation...... the indignation and persistant lies that misled the whole nation into believing his innocence and portrayal of himself as victim of political persecution and conspiracies.

The state of denial and plea of innocence would continue.

But it's better late than never. There is still time to salvage himself by coming out with the truth and resign from all political positions.

People can forget and forgive.Chua Soi Lek sex scandal and his honest admission led him to be elected as President of MCA.

Without any doubts from the many incidents of impropriety and infidelity of public figures in the West the "Mat Sallehs" are whiter than white.............. have more sense of moral shame.A scandal of this magnitude would have knocked sense into their heads, bite the bullet and be done with.

Bill Clinton took the risk of losing his presidency by admission of guilt.Infidelity, a moral crime against the code of conduct of a president and disapproved of a man holding such office would have removed him as president if he had lied and been dishonest about the truth. He would have been impeached. His honesty saved him.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn resigned as IMF Chief even before he was proven guilty. He needs not but than that not how things operate in the West. Guilty or innocence, a scandal is good enough to demand resignation from office.

In this country we have no moral sins, we can defend any sleazebag, shamelessly, as long as we benefit from it.

No one is infallible, to err is human but to live a life of lies and deceit is an unforgiveable crime for those coveting the high office.

Here, is another one of Bar Council full of themselves. They have become judges of the judges.Obviously, judges in Malaysia don't know how to run their courts, they need some half-six lawyers to tell them what to do.

If Anwar is a man in the street who would care what he does with his private life but than Anwar is not a man in the street, he yearns to be the prime minister of this nation and the people have the right to know the truth.

Anwar should resign as MP on his own accord and prove his innocence in the court of law by taken those who smeared his name to court.

If not, it may be morally commanding on Ambiga to change BERSIH's walk for democrary to a walk demanding the resignation of Anwar as member of parliament and de facto leader of the opposition.

By your own prognosis, Najib should also step down and defend himself?

Anon 6:13, you have evidence of Najib doing wrong? I mean real evidence that can be used in a Court of Law not hearsay hogwash as told by Anwar Ibrahim that you heard from your friend's friend.

In the Sodomy II case, the doctor at Pusrawi who was the first to complete the medical investigation on the alleged victim was never called to testify at the recent hearings.

His testimony that there was no penetration would probably have proved Anwar's innocence but the fact is Dr Osman was never given the opportunity to testify.

How can Anwar prove his innocence if the prosecution practises selective witness testimony?

I am not saying if Anwar is innocent or guilty but had the issue of penetration been brought to light at these preliminary hearings, I would think that taxpayers money would have been saved and the AG's office can focus on other important cases.

As for the Bersih walk, shouldn't both the incumbent govt and Opposition be walking hand in hand for free and fair elections ? The fact that the incumbent govt seems to oppose this cause says a lot, doesn't it ?

Bro Eddy,

I fully agree!
So, in the same manner...you have evidence of DSAI doing wrong?...i.e. Sodomy...i.e. the actor in that Sex Tape?
I.e. not Hogwash as told by UMNO, Utuasn & PERKASA?
Don't get me wrong...I am not defending DSAI...neither am I defending PM Najib...but fair is fair!

Hey guys, guys....you are all barking up the wrong tree. Bersih is not anti this and anti that. All they are asking is that the Election Commision, which is by the way a public institution and not a government agency, to update and polish their election policies to make our election "more" just and better reflect the wishes of the rakyat.
Therefore, rakyat who support Bersih are not anti government, anti UMNO, Anti MCA, Anti PKR, Anti DAP .

Now, people, get this right and show you support and effort in building a better Malaysia for years to come. Just do it and make a difference.
