Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak appealed to the people not to change horses in midstream and called the opposition Pakatan Rakyat as pied piper.
Remember the Pied Piper Of Hamelin, the rat-catcher, hired by the townsfolk to rid the town of rats but was not paid for his service and, subsequently, took revenge on the townsfolk, made all the children follow him and never to be seen again.
The moral of the story is, if you promise something, you better deliver, or else you are going to lose something or everything.
So, Najib better deliver all his promises, or Anwar Ibrahim is going to make all his dreams disappear.
What are metaphors of the pied piper? Basically, they are:
a) a charismatic person that attracts people.
b)a person who can delusively entice people to his side.
c)a leader making irresponsible promises.
Don't you think Anwar Ibrahim fits the picture very well? He promised Malaysians the "MOON". Maybe, we should call him the "Pied Piper Of Permatang Pauh"

I think BN would still rule, without two-thirds majority, saved by the East Malaysians.
As a token of appreciation Najib should move Putrajaya over here.

Agree with you that BN will probably still have the majority, saved by Sarawak's votes.
However, Perak will join the other states which are non-BN ruled.
However, ir they really cleaned up the electoral rolls, it may tip the other way. I mean, we are reading about instances where a few hundred voters are staying in the same house ???
And what about the Speaker's recent action regarding passing the Bill on electoral reform? Very fishy, if you ask me.
