The blatant lies continued in spite of a video clearly showing Tian Chua counting 1, 2, 3 and leading the charge towards the police.
PKR Subang MP R Sivarasa explained that Tian Chua was running away from the police rather than attacking them during an incident at an underpass at KL Sentral.
“Police seem to be focusing on Tian Chua running out of the underpass, trying to suggest that he was charging at the police and therefore they fired tear gas. But the videos show that that’s a complete lie,” said Sivarasa.

The only issue is Government cannot afford to lie or play politics because Government servants are paid by rakyat's money and their job is to serve the rakyat.
All others can lie thru their teeth because a lot of dunggus out there still believe a lie when told of one. That's how politician cari makan or carma.

Yes, I believe PKR is lying about Tian Chua. Instead of defending him they should either just shut up & let him face the music or haul him up & slap him!
The important point about the BERSIH debacle is (as you so rightly noted in one of your earlier articles) that the Najib Regime reacted wrongly to the whole thing.
After promising the BERSIH organisers a Stadium, he should have allowed them to gather in Stadium Merdeka & let them scream & shout their lungs out. Now he's a liar to add to all those "other" rumors about him!
Those who are pro-UMNO / BN will remain so & those who are pro-Opposition will also remain so. Similarly, the fence sitters will remain fence sitters until the last minute.
By reacting the way they did (i.e. they did not need to shoot Tear Gas & Chemical-laced Water Cannons), they just got bad publicity right from the word go & so now they are having to defend themselves (I guess that's why you are busy writing article after articel about BERSIH 2.0 & attacking Ambiga personally?).
We can go on like this until the proverbial "cows come home", but nothing is going to change.
At the end of the day, UMNO / BN will still be dirty, corrupted, racist & Najib is still going to be handing over his PM-ship to either Muhyiddin (Allah forbid!) or DSAI (Allah forbid also!). Either way, Malaysia & Malaysians lose!

My view: No matter what evidence anyone provides, the dunggu and lembu supporters, the so called educated and even "academicians", will not or choose not to believe.

The rally was blocked off, neither advance nor retreat, some kind of stand off with the police. They wanted to advance to the stadium. If they had wanted to attack, they would had carried weapons or hailed stones at them, plenty of it(near construction site). They charged without malice, hopefully the police would open a path for them. What we saw(video), only the police were inhumane & inexperience in crowd situation.

saya adalah kawan sekolah tian chua dan betul betul mengenali beliau.
orang yang didalam video itu bukan tian chua, mungkin mukanya sahaja yang mirip tian chua tetapi perut nya lain sikit.
malah pada hari tersebut tian chua berada dengan saya dan nik aziz di kota baru
kalau tak percaya, pergi tanya nik aziz lah!

I was not at the Bersih 2.0 rally, but I know people who were there - they are not Pakatan Rakyat party supporters, but people who support free and fair elections in Malaysia.
From talking to them, if you mention "A Family of Liars", what comes to their mind is Najib Tun Razak, Rais Yatim, Ketua Polis Negara, Polis DiRaja Malaysia, and RTM.
My friends were there, they saw the truth of July 9, Kuala Lumpur
