Who Is Vell Paari?

Hantu Laut

Vell Paari, is the son of Samy Vellu, who currently manages MAIKA Holdings and is advisor of Putera MIC and MIC Youth. He was also appointed as Chairman of Unity and Community Development of MIC by its Central Working Committee. His wife Shaila Nair, 33, is also active in Puteri MIC, a special wing of MIC for Malaysian Indian women below 35 years old.

This rag to riches(with the help of UMNO) son of a former minister in the BN government has some bizzare and questionable past behind him.

In 2011 Vell Paari told The Malay Mail of his involvement in OKA Motor Co., the trading name of Reymer Pty Ltd, that he controls in Australia besieged by the disappearance of millions of dollars, missing accounting files and stolen intellectual  property manual.Read the full story here.

More mysterious is the death of  actress K.Sujatha who worked for Vell Paari as his personal assistant. He also bought her a condominum and a car on a strictly employer/employee relationship he claimed.Read the story here and here .

From the Nutgraph below:

Maika Holdings Bhd chief executive officer S Vell Paari told the coroner’s court here today that he never had a sexual relationship with his personal assistant K Sujatha.
He said his relationship with her was close and normally when he visited Sujatha at her condominium unit in Jalan Ipoh, it was for official reasons and if there were functions there.
He said he never paid her casual visits.
Vell Paari, 46, also admitted that Sujatha had visited him at home on numerous occasions and both of them had gone out for dinners.
“Sujatha had accompanied me for official and family functions,” he said.Read more here.

Vell Paari behaved as if he lost his wife at Sujata’s funeral.Read here.

The young and beautiful K.Sujatha

I am sure many beautiful young Indian girls must have envied Sujatha for having such a good boss who takes care of her personal needs without any string attached.

In memory of Sujatha.

The type of car he bought her.

Vell Paari: My father rejected Tunship here.

Samy loosing his cool in Parliament:

The Melayu Bodoh (UMNO) who made him and his father rich gets a stinking attack here.

Panggong Wayang India.

Hantu Laut

The placard should read "Samy Velu, President For Life".

Samy should have declared himself perpetual dictator of MIC and change the party constitution to make himself the glorious and till death do us part leader of the Indian community in Malaysia. He should cast himself in the mould of Kin Il-sung of North Korea or Fidel Castro of Cuba.

This is the same sycophant that used to carry Mahathir's balls (excuse my language) when Mahathir was the great giver. He now thinks the members of UMNO are fools not to know who instigated the delegate to insult Mahathir by garlanding him with the dirtiest human footwear.A garland befits the harijans.

Wait a minute! Can he claimed to be the glorious leader of the Indians in this country? Didn't he lose in the last election and his party badly trashed?

Mahathir wasn't wrong to say that MIC will not get the supports of the Indians if Samy is still allowed to helm the party.

The near decimation of the party at the last general elections was a clear sign that the Indians do not want Samy leadership any more. They have had enough of his political antics and his misguided notion that the Indians still hunger for his leadership. The Indians wanted him out yesterday but Samy is not getting the message.Even after Hindraf's massive display of Indian's support for the oppositions, he still implacably thinks he is irreplaceable.

Getting voted in as party president doesn't necessary reflect popularity with the masses.Malaysian politics are also known to be riddled with money politics, the higher the position the bigger the money, and the top leadership are no exception to this dirty and demeaning way of getting elected.

With Samy still as President of MIC and MCA in turmoil Mahathir's prophecy might come true. The BN will have a tough job ahead unless it can find alternatives to replace these two fallen angels of Malaysian politics.

A garland of slippers for Mahathir proposed by a delegate at MIC meeting is an excoriation of the former prime minister by his former protege. An affront for Mahathir.UMNO members have taken umbrage to what they see as an insult against a Malay leader, more so against Mahathir, the longest serving prime minister.

It is nothing but the usual wayang kulit which the Indians have a propensity to display with great exaggeration.

Does Samy Velu know before hand what the delegate is going to say? Were they coaxed into making the proposal to shame Mahathir and send a message to him not to interfere in MIC internal politics and that he was wrong about Subramaniam and even more wrong about Samy.

Samy has proven Mahathir wrong, he won, but can MIC win the next general elections?

The end of MIC is foreboding.

It has now become Najib's dilemma, two lame ducks in the BN stable.

Samy: Shut Up And Go To Hell

Hantu Laut

Kascha Khan
If you see a cobra and Samy Vellu which one would you put in the cage first ? I think I would rather take my chance with the cobra and deal with Samy Vellu first. If you are bitten by the cobra at least there are serums available that can save your life. Unfortunately, there is no antidote for Samy's bite.

Samy Vellu hasn't stopped talking since his party suffered massive losses at the polls. He has everyone to blame except himself. He is now pointing fingers at the very same people he has had intercourse with for the past thirty years. The very same people he was comfortable with in bed for over three decades and everything was hunky dory for the Indian community.

He denied being subservient to UMNO but accused them of not treating him as equal. Short of calling them by names he is now accusing UMNO and the Malay civil servants of discrimination against the Indian community.

He says the Malay civil servants are racists and do not consider non-Malays as Malaysians. Everyone knows the Malay civil servants are a bunch of racist katak dibawah tempurong and are there merely because of the ketuanan Melayu policy. You know this but yet you love and worship them before. You ever said it was UMNO that gives you your jiwa, not MIC. Why suddenly you see wrongs in them and none in yourself.

Since you feel the Indian community was so badly treated why didn't you leave the BN then and fight them as an opposition fighting for the rights of the Indians in this country. You and your MIC would have been the champions today and not Hindraf if you had taken the bold steps to save the Indians from their miseries.

When Hindu temples were demolished, where were you, did you do anything to help them to rehabilitate the temples ?

You didn't, because you were more concerned with saving your own skin and the wealth you have amassed under that regime. You didn't, because you wouldn't want to upset your Malay masters.

You say you saw it coming six months before the election, the Indians will abandon MIC due to poor treatment they get from the government. Why you stood as a candidate if you knew you are going to lose ? Didn't you assure the PM that the Indians are doing well, happy and fully support the BN government ?

Now that the BN government has cancelled the licence of the Tamil daily, Makkal Osai, what are you going to do to show proof that you really love the Indian community and the action taken by the government was wrong ?
Weeeee!!!!!!!

Samy, you are disgusting, are you going to do the right thing ? Shut up, resign or self-immolate.

Look ! Who Is Talking Now

Hantu Laut

Samy has changed and is a reformed man. He wears the BN badge but speaks like an opposition.

Samy has found his voice again. He is now singing the same chorus as the oppositions, though a little too late

According to Samy the government failure to act on issues affecting the Indian community has turned the Indians against MIC and the BN and warned Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi that if the situation is not rectified it could lead to greater losses for BN.

Now Samy wanted the government to release the 5 Hindraf's detainees and warned PM Abdullah that refusing to do so would be at the government own peril. The Attorney General has said that the government should not release the 5 as they are threats to national security.

For 28 years at the helm of MIC, exactly the same period Robert Mugabe has ruled Zimbabwe, both of them have done the same thing, one destroy a political party out of self-glorification and greed and the other had destroyed a nation out of personal glory and greed.

Although Samy's sins are comparably smaller than that of Mugabe, it has nevertheless hemmed in the Indian community into a valley of despair. Hindraf and eventually Makkal Sakthi at the polls that nearly wipe out MIC, was the result of the state of despair of the Indian community in this country, neglected and looked down upon by the leaders in MIC and the government.

For 28 years Samy who claimed to represent the Indians in this country didn't know that they have been marginalised because Samy lives in the comfort zone, in a palatial home away from the dirt and filth of poverty. He didn't know that Indian temples have been demolished because he is more concerned with preserving himself by constantly sucking up to his masters in UMNO.Some years ago he said "UMNO kasi saya jiwa" when he was trying to curry favour with the than Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad.

What the point of shouting his head off now when he had all the chances to speak and do something for the Indians when he was holding ministerial position. Why didn't he force through his demand on Abdullah to release the 5 detainees before the elections. He could have issued an ultimatum to the PM to take MIC out of BN if the demand is not met, if he really cares about the Indian community. It would have saved MIC from the massive desertion by the Indians.

Samy, it's too late now, the Indian community know you are fooling them again. You only dare to speak now because you think Abdullah's government is weak and there are no more benefits you can get from him.

The best for you, MIC and the Indians in this country is for you to hand over the helm to another person and disappear from the scene.

GO SAMY GO

Hantu Laut

"Even an army can't stop me" he said in true Alexander the Great style.

Yesterday he changed his tone to “I will contest this term and next term I won’t go for it. This may be my last term,” he said.

On the Hindraf supporters who blocked his car in Prai last Saturday, he said they “asked me to tell Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to release the 180 people detained for taking part in an illegal assembly in Kuala Lumpur.”

“They did not talk anything about politics. This does not indicate that they hate me,” he said.

Great ! Than how the hell did Hindraf come into existence and the Indians were on the streets feeling agrieved, neglected and abandoned by the government.

Greed is the selfish desire for or pursuit of money, wealth, power, food, or other possessions, especially when this denies the same goods to others. It is generally considered a vice,...(Wikipedia).

Samy Vellu is the longest serving president of MIC (Malaysian Indian Congress), held the position since 1979. He is also the longest serving minister and the only Indian minister in the Malaysian Cabinet.

He was born in 1936 to rubber tappers parents at the Rengo Malay Estate near Kluang, Johor. At age 14 he left for Kuala Lumpur with his father and worked as a bus conductor with GTC transport company (now Syarikat Sr Jaya). His fortunes took a turn for the the better when he met a construction engineer who got him a job as an office boy in a well-known architectural firm. For a salary of RM9.00 a month he has also to clean the engineer's house, wash his car and water his garden.

While at the architect firm he studied English and attended night classes in draughtsmanship. In the early 1970s, Samy Vellu left for London and returned a qualified architect.

During his younger days, before becoming an architect, he and some friends formed a theatre group that staged dramas in rubber estates and small towns. The group's leading actors were Samy Vellu and V.Govindaraj.Ironically, both entered politics and stayed loyal to each other until they fell out dramatically and played out a real-life drama in 1984 that ended with Samy Vellu expelling Govindaraj from the MIC.Govindaraj, however, was readmitted in the party a few years later, and was appointed to the Central Executive Committee where he served until 2006, following his open support for Samy Vellu's opponent, Datuk S.Subramaniam.

Disloyalty, animosity, betrayal and gangsterism are indispensible commodities and trademark of MIC. Samy should know better why many poor and downtrodden young Indians are turning to crime and gangsterism.

Controversies surrounding Samy Vellu

Since holding his post as Works Minister of Malaysia, Samy Vellu is alleged to have been involved in several money scandals and work defects in several prominent construction projects in Malaysia by cover up the bumiputera contractor anc companies, which included the discovery of fungus growing in the air-conditioning system of the operating theatre in the Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor Bahru as well as long closure cracks on MRR2, an overpass highway in Ampang[2].

Samy Vellu is often accused of sucking up shares of many of Malaysia's companies[3]. And the MAIKA Telecom Share Scandal continues to haunt him. Samy Vellu is alleged to have siphoned off 9 million (of the original 10 million) Telekom shares that were allocated to MAIKA. He had allegedly used three companies -- Clearway Sdn. Bhd., S.B. Management Services, and Advance Personal Computers Bhd. -- linked to Samy Vellu, his son S. Vell Paari, and brother-in-law to carry out his misdeed. When the scandal broke in mid-1992, the shares were valued at RM 120 million.[4][5][6] In 1994, the then Chairman of the MIC Public Claims Committee, V Subramaniam (aka "Barat" Maniam), charged that the accounts have been fabricated to make it appear that the profits from the sale of the Telekom shares were channelled to MIED. He declared, "Samy Vellu is a thief. He has stolen (Telekom) shares from the Indian community."[7].

Some believe that Samy Vellu had sold the Indian-Malaysian community off in order to save himself from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency. They allege that he did not do enough or protested loud enough when the Indian-Malaysian situation worsened, or when the Malaysian government dissolved the South Indian Labour Fund.[8] Currently, he has committed his energy to building the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST). However, AIMST, built with donations collected from the Indian-Malaysian community, too, is riddled in controversy, as its shares are owned by Samy Vellu's associates, Tan Sri K. Ambikaipakan and Datuk Dr. T. Marimuthu[9][10].

Samy Vellu is also often criticised for his leadership style. As one critic put it, "He (Samy Vellu) is very much in control of the party (MIC), and the party's run almost [as a] feudal organisation where almost all decisions are made by the President himself. A lot of Indians are critical of MIC's role in the coalition government ... the Indian middle class does not want to associate itself in the MIC and largely making the MIC a working class party."[11]

There have also been allegations that Samy Vellu uses thugs to intimidate his political opponents, and that he uses phantom voters to win elections both at the party and the parliamentary levels[12]. A petition by Samy Vellu's challenger, Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj, to the election court alleging electoral fraud during the 1998 General Election at Sungai Siput constituency, however, was dismissed by the presiding judge, Justice Wan Adnan, on technical grounds.(Wikipedia)

Samy, you don't seem to get the message that you have ran out of your usefulness, the Indian community have had enough of your neglect and contempt for them and what is even more pathetic, you have forgotten your humble beginning.

Samy, least you forget, nothing is for free. You have gone through the experience of having to pay back for the help and kindness of another person. What have you given back in return for the Indians votes that kept you in office all this while?

Go Samy go, before you fall in disgrace.
