Elections Before Ramadan ?

Hantu Laut

Is there a likelihood that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak would dissolve parliament and call for elections before the starting of Ramadan?

Will he springs a surprise?

More to come.

In the meantime, opposition Pakatan Rakyat is desperate for civil service votes. There are over 1.2 million civil servants and all are of voting age and over 90% Malays.

Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders reminded the country’s 1.4 million civil servants today that they should “be loyal to the country, the King and the Federal Constitution and not to the ruling party,” amid recent concerns about the lack of impartiality among senior government officials.Read more here.

They should be loyal to the government of the day.No need for Guan Eng to warn them. They will vote for whoever they think fit to run this country.

After being debased, rubbished and made the target of public hostility and odium would they vote for Pakatan Rakyat?

Nay!

Ten Reasons Countries Fall Apart

Some countries fail spectacularly, with a total collapse of all state institutions, as in Afghanistan after the Soviet withdrawal and the hanging of President Mohammad Najibullah from a lamppost, or during the decade-long civil war in Sierra Leone, where the government ceased to exist altogether.

Most countries that fall apart, however, do so not with a bang but with a whimper. They fail not in an explosion of war and violence but by being utterly unable to take advantage of their society's huge potential for growth, condemning their citizens to a lifetime of poverty. This type of slow, grinding failure leaves many countries in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America with living standards far, far below those in the West. Read more.

Somewhere In China ?

Hantu Laut

It's the reality of Malaysian politics.

Polarisation of the races, fault of not only the Malays, but equally responsible, if not more, are the Chinese and Indians, giving too much prominence to their own culture and language and giving national identity and the national language a backseat.

I have nothing against people speaking their own language anywhere, anytime, but it would be more appropriate to use the national language in political gatherings, political debate or political speeches of any kind if one truly believe in the making of a national identity.

The U.S is one nation that has become analogous, the cohesion of different ethnic origins to proudly call themselves American. They speak one common language while maintaining whatever culture and language peculiar to them.So do the Japanese,Korean,Chinese and so forth.

One can understand if the elderly Chinese or Indians can't muster the Malay language but for  the very young generations who can't speak fluent Malay is an abomination.

Advertised on a rabid pro-opposition blog.

Insincere politicians that provide lip service and pro-opposition bloggers who plastered their blogs with posters and banners depicting the desire for "Oneness" is nothing but a charade and pulling wool over the eyes. Needless to say, their hypocritical indulgence are doing great disservice to the nation.

Strange as it may sound for a Chinese, one Hannah Yeoh, a DAP state assemblyman, a great pretender of some kind, demanded that her newborn's race be recorded as "Malaysian" in the birth certificate. She Is Chinese and her husband Indian. It makes one wonder since when the word "Malaysian" has become a genealogy of race.

What makes more sense and more appropriate would be for her to ask for  "Chindian" as her child's race, a more appropriate genealogy for offspring born of wedlock of Indian and Chinese parents, which are already in use, unofficially. If Eurasian can be the epithet of race, why not Chindian and Machin for the offspring of Malay who married Chinese? Maybe, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka should coin these words for general usage.

I am for doing away with the race column because I suffered the same malady as the Chinese and Indians because of my grandfather's origin. My birth certificate shows I am of sub-continent origin though I have natives blood in me.For all intents and purposes I would or should be a Malay because we have for few generations shed the Afghan/Persian culture and took up the Malay custom and language.

My criticism is not directed toward any race but against politicians in general and in this particular case, Chinese politicians, who, sadly and selfishly, have taken chauvinistic approach toward the national language. These are the very same people who talked incessantly about integration of the races and domination of multiracialism in a pluralistic society yet do everything possible against achieveing that objective.

A nation must have a lingua franca (common language) before it can speak of national identity. In that respect the Indonesian Chinese are more adapt to speaking the Indonesian language among themselves even when they travel overseas. If you are inside Indonesia you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between Indonesian Chinese and Indonesian Malay because they speak the same language. For that matter, Thailand and the Philippines are the same where Chinese had become inconspicuous, thoroughly assimilated and adopted local culture and names.

Two months ago my wife and I was in Hong Kong and had dinner in an Indonesian restaurant, next to our table was a group 10 elderly Chinese all looking as Chinese as can be.We soon realised they are not Hong Kong Chinese because they spoke in Indonesian and occasionally in Chinese.

How is the DAP going to woo the Malays to join the party and field Malay candidates in elections if their political gatherings and debates appeared as if they were held somewhere in China.

They talked about the unfair advantage of the current system favoring Malays and discrimination against other races when they themselves could hardly shed their bastion of Chinese chauvinism. They forget or could not care less that there are other Malaysians who are interested to hear what they have to say about national politics and not confine the gathering to just an all Chinese affairs.

I have many Chinese friends, they may agree or disagree with me, but the truth is out there. I foresee Malaysia's hazardous long and winding road to win national identity.......a failure that rest squarely on the shoulders of the three major races in the country.

Religion may be seen as one of the dividing factors to national unity which is understandable but should not be a major cause of failure of attaining national identity. The U.S is more complicated, a more diverse melting pot but they all consider themselves American first.

The Arabs, the Pakistanis and other Muslims who migrated to the West had turned out to be the misfits of Western society due to their refusal to shed some of their cultural practices that could not sit well in a Western concept. They ended up isolated from the general population and live in their parochial and clannish hemisphere.

The old adage "When in Rome do as the Romans do" always rang true.

Everything including posters and banners exclusively in Chinese. For the less initiated you may think it was somewhere in China. I did, when I watched the first few minutes of the video.

More debate, somewhere in China

In singapore, most leaders are trilingual.

Meet Singapore founding father:

Kuan Yew's National Day speech

Malaysian Chinese leaders should take a leaf out of the books of Singapore top Chinese leaders who had no qualm and not shy away from being fluent in Malay even though Singapore is predominantly Chinese and they can give two hoots about speaking Malay.

Selena Tay: Najib's Slayer

Hantu Laut

This lady is either very infatuated with Najib or she is suffering from extreme hate syndrome. She may also be a closet racist engaging in subtle racism.

Part of her handiwork below:

"This shows him as inconsistent and inefficient with a penchant for changing his mind. It also means that he can do the same with regard to formulating the laws and policies of the nation as well – a frightening thought indeed for the foreign investors to ponder upon".

Laws are enacted by Parliament not the PM, policies goes to cabinet for approval. Running a nation is not a one man show.

"Overall during his tenure, the misappropriation of funds seems to be the norm and there were also two mysterious deaths at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission premises (the first in July 2009 and the second in April last year)".

You mean Najib also sanctioned these two mysterious deaths?

"This is the common modus operandi of a confidence trickster. He gives you a small gift to gain your trust and confidence. After that, he says you are eligible for something bigger but first of all you have to invest RM3,000 in the scheme (read: scam)".

Haha! We have a con-man PM!

"By the way, one has to remember that Najib failed to answer this question posed to him earlier this year: In the event that Pakatan Rakyat wins the 13th general election, will you hand over power graciously in a smooth transition? Till today, he has yet to answer the question".

Of course not, why should he, he should just proclaim himself the King of Malaysia, in a new republic called Malayoland.

Does she get orgasm with this kind of writing?

Spurned lovers do?

Would Some Of You Ladies Like Your Head On A Beautiful Body Of A Porn Star?

Hantu Laut

FMT reports here.

As anticipated, the spinning wheel continue to spin the improbable probables.

In the words of a political analyst in Hong Kong the late Altantuya was airdrop into Paris under the cover of darkness, that's why there was no record of her entry into the country.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a political analyst pointed out that just because the records do not show her entering France, it did not mean that she was not there.

So! Who is this freaking political analyst who suddenly become an expert in criminology?

Malaysiakini reported that in 2007 news portal Asia Sentinel had published a series of photographs depicting Altantuya in Paris, among others, posing in front of the Notre Dame Chatedral.

The one below certainly looked like her, the head only, the body belong to someone else.

Don't believe?

Remember the haughty Raja Petra Kamaruddin and his bevy of beauties. The doctored photograph below. Well crafted, isn't it?

Can you spot the difference?

Remember Tian Chua, the moronic PKR half-baked forger with his shoddy handiwork below.

With today's technology switching different heads onto different bodies is as simple as ABC.

Would some of you ladies like you head on the body of a porn star, a really beautiful body?

Altantuya! The Truth Will Out.

Hantu Laut

As they say "the truth will out".

Anwar has, in many of his ceramahs, linked Najib to the Altantuya murder.

The Suaram sponsored enquiry into corruptions on the Scorpene submarines deal unearthed a completely different story,  lies fabricated by elements in the Malaysian oppositions about Altantuya and Najib.

The poor lady according to French police had never entered France and was never involved as interpreter in the Scorpene scandal. This so-called interpreter can't even speak French. The elusive photo of her dining with Najib and Baginda in Paris, which Anwar and his posse, including the dead girl's father claimed many people have seen, obviously, did not exist. Till today, there was not a shred of evidence to show that the photo or any other photo of Najib's dalliance with her ever exists.

Suara Anak Haram ..Wikipedia (Suaram) did not expect the probe sponsored by them to open another Pandora's box, exposing the lies and smear campaign of the opposition not only in Malaysia but internationally with the help of foreign elements.

In the video above calling a press conference to reframe the lies on the PM and to defame him.

Who's the liar, Najib or Anwar?

What next?

The blatant lies will continue and for sure, the opposition and its supporters, as always, see conspiracy creeping in every nooks and crannies they imagined and would say Najib paid the whole French government to lie for him? Did the French government also erased her name from their immigration records?

Is the FMT story a lie?

They are not exactly known for responsible reporting but for this one, I'll give them benefit of the doubt.

French probe: Altantuya never entered France

PETALING JAYA: A French police investigation has revealed that a person named Altantuya Shaariibuu has never entered France from 1999 to 2006.
Their investigation finds that there are no immigration records of an “Altantuya Shaariibuu” entering France in that period, raising a red flag on the existence of a photograph of the Mongolian, Najib Tun Razak and Abdul Razak Baginda in Paris, allegedly taken between 2004 and 2006.
This is revealed in confidential investigative documents submitted to the French judicial inquiry which is looking into alleged kickbacks in the Scorpene submarine deal between French firm DCNS and the Malaysian government.
The French investigation also revealed that there are no immigration records to show that Prime Minister Najib and his close aide Abdul Razak had entered France from 1999 to 2006.
However, another investigative document revealed that Najib, then a defence minister, and Abdul Razak were part of an official entouarge to Paris from June 16 to June 18, 2000.
Najib made further visits to France in July 2001, July 2003, June 2005 and October 2007 but it is possible that Najib and his entourage could have entered France through diplomatic channel.
The confidential documents also revealed that DCNS officials had also informed French police that they never met a person named Altantuya and do not know who she is in the course of their negotiations for the Scorpene deal.
The DCNS officials had further informed the French police that the negotiations for the submarines were done in Malaysia and not in France.
One official – DCNS’ former sales manager to Malaysia Fredric Faura – told the French investigators the negotiations were in English and not in French, so there is no need for an interpreter.
Furthermore, Altantuya did not speak French so she could not have acted as an English-French interpreter.
He also alluded that he had not met or known Altantuya.
“You ask me if Altantuya was present at these meetings; I say that all Malaysians have perfect English and an interpreter is unnecessary,” was his response to a question by the French police.
Likewise, Jasbir Singh Chahl, who is reported by Malaysian NGO Suaram as being the first Malaysian to be subpoenaed as a witness in the Scorpene case, also told the French police that he has never met Altantuya and that she was not involved in the submarine negotiations.

What photo?
If there are no records of Altantuya entering France, questions are bound to rise over the so-called photo being taken of herself, Najib and Abdul Razak in Paris.Read more.

Hantu Laut

As they say "the truth will out".

Whose  the liar, Najib or Anwar?

Anti-Corruption Program in Malaysia -- A Comprehensive Approach

Clear goals and commitments to anti-corruption have been demonstrated in Prime Minister Najib's Economic and Government Transformation Programs. They will and should continue in the months and years ahead, regardless of who leads the Malaysian government.
High risk countries offer the most challenging environment for large-scale, comprehensive reform. But as the Arab Spring showed, when these problems of corruption have appeared and have been allowed to fester, a popular movement will demand action. It would behoove these leaders to take a look at the Malaysian model instead.

The Chinese View Najib Incapable - Selena Tay

Hantu Laut

Another dim-witted writer.

"The Chinese view the prime minister as not a capable person for not being able to do such a simple thing as dissolving Parliament. Thus the longer he holds off the polls, the more the Chinese will view him as being not capable and the more Chinese votes he will lose as many are already losing confidence in him due to his foot-dragging over the polls date".

Can write but stupid!

Dissolving parliament is the prime minister's prerogative. No one can force him to do so, not until his term expires.

Except for this stupid lady, who called the PM incapable and assumed Chinese are stupid,  I am sure most Chinese knew the PM's term has not run out, he has until March 2013 to call for elections.

Why blame the prime minister if you monkeys, every now and then, make you own wrong prediction!

As I have said in my earlier posts, read my lip....anytime after Ramadan and before end of the year..... or if it makes you feel better, he may dissolve parliament by Monday 25 June, or just to annoy you political scumbags he may stretch the whole nine yards.

Has she been appointed spokesperson for the Chinese community?

Anyway, I have written off Chinese supports for BN long before the shit hit the fan.

Majority Chinese supports would go to DAP and most Malay votes would go to UMNO, except for the so-called scroll conscious Melayus who think they have made it, think smarter than a 5th grader and think can survive the level playing field......on mere perception of self-conceit.

PKR would be the only party in Pakatan limping home.

Don't you think it would be nice, for a change, to have a real opposition leader and not a de-facto one.

I'll vote Lim Kit Siang for opposition leader because DAP would get the most seats among the 3 components in Pakatan.

The Green-Eyed Monster

Hantu Laut

It's called "cognitive dissonance" often involved in reducing anxiety about conflicting cognition.

Remember "The Fox And The Grapes" one of Aesop's fables, the story of a hungry fox trying to reach some grapes hanging high on the vine but was unable to,  in spite of jumping with all his strength. As he went away the fox remarked "Oh, you aren't even ripe yet! I don't need any sour grapes"

People who speak disparagingly of things they can't get would do well to apply this story to themselves.

His story of backstabbing and betrayal is well known in Sabah. He has switched parties God knows how many times, PBS, PBRS, AKAR, UPKO and PKR.In 1993 he applied to join UMNO but was rejected. He has joined almost every functioning political parties under the Sabah sun.

In 2010, out of desperation and frustrated with Anwar Ibrahim treatment of him as a pariah politician he left PKR to form United Borneo Front, aimed to protect the rights of Sabah and Sarawak under the 20-point agreement.

The people of Sabah, particularly the KDM, should open their eyes, is this man going to look after their interests or he is all for himself.

Read his inadequacy and resentment below.

‘Big crowds not a judge of BN support’

KENINGAU: Flooding Keningau with busloads of Sabahans to celebrate the state level Kaamatan festival with Prime Ministe Najib Tun Razak  is not  a yardstick to measure support for Barisan Nasional in the state.

Alluding to the reported 20,000 strong crowd in the Interior division of Keningau yesterday, State Reform Party (STAR) Sabah chairman Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said it was ‘obviously a BN political gimmick and a waste of taxpayers money.’
“It is laughable that a national-level celebration is being held in the Interior when it should rightly be held in the national capital where it would attract national and global attention, and get participation from all states.
“The National Pesta Kaamatan is a strong instrument of national unity but what national unity are they going to achieve in the remote Keningau?
“It should be a grand national celebration based on the spirit of Sabah’s culture and not a political gathering.
“Obviously this is all just an expensive gimmick for the BN’s political agenda and a waste of taxpayers’ money,” he added.
He  said it was an obvious attempt to reverse the strong anti-BN sentiment in the Interior in which the shouts of “Ini kalilah!” is being heard in every nook and corner, even from small children.
“This is clearly more of a political campaign rather than a national festival to benefit all Malaysians!” he said alluding to the increasingly strong anti-Umno sentiment in Keningau where his brother deputy chief minister Joseph Pairin is MP.

Nothing new with KDM College
Kitingan also took a dig at the launch of the KDM College in Keningau, saying it was long overdue and that the BN was blowing the whole publicity out of proportion.
He said that the plan for one community college for every parliamentary area was decided a long time ago but had never materialised until now.
“The KDM College is actually a community college, not one with a special purpose for the KDMs.”
“And it is definitely not due to the special efforts of the (Pairin’s) PBS that the college is going to be built, ” he added. Free Malaysia Today.

If you don't already know, the phrase "Green-Eyed Monster" is taken from Shakespeare's Othello.... means jealousy personified.

Jerry Sandusky: You Gullible Malaysians Read This!

Hantu Laut

When Anwar Ibrahim was charged for sodomy many gullible Malaysians refused to believe how it could have happened? How could it be possible for a 67 year old man to overpower and subdue a younger man?

Surbordinate fear of powerful, commanding and dominant superior is real. The thought of losing a job, a partner or husband had made many willing victims of abuse of such monsters.

Sandusky was arrested and charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse of young boys over a 15-year period.

Sandusky is now 68 years old, not forgetting he is also married with children.

Read the chilling story:

I screamed in vain from the basement... but no one heard me': Boy, 18, moves court to tears as he testifies about sex abuse at Sandusky trial

  • Boy, 18said he spent more than 100 nights at Penn State coach's house
  • Investigator testifies that he recommended charges be filed against Sandusky in 1998 after mother of alleged victim came forward
  • Then-district attorney - who vanished in 2005 - disagreed with his findings
  • 'Victim 3' testified that he was fondled twice by Sandusky but hurt as ex-coach never contacted him after he was sent to a group home.

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

An 18-year-old testified today that he screamed for help while Jerry Sandusky repeatedly raped him and forced him to perform oral sex in the basement of his home.

The prosecution's case in the former Penn State assistant coach's sex abuse trial neared its conclusion after just four days of testimony, with three more accusers taking the witness stand.
The teenage boy, known as Victim 9, told jurors the abuse began with fondling and forced oral sex and led to rape at the house where he spent more than 100 nights. He said the abuse lasted for four years until he was 16.

His muffled screams went unanswered by Sandusky's wife, Dottie, who was upstairs. Victim 9 said he figured the basement must have been soundproofed.
'He got real aggressive and just forced me into it,' said the young man, now 18 and a recent high school graduate. 'And I just went with it - there was no fighting against it.'
He said under cross-examination by Sandusky's lawyer Joe Amendola that the attacks sometimes left him bleeding but that he never sought medical attention.
'I just dealt with it,' he said. The courtroom was frequently brought to tears during the young man's testimony.

Victim 9 said he was helpless when Sandusky allegedly came for him, according to ABC.
He said: 'Sometimes (I'd) scream, sometimes tell him to get off me, but other than that, who was there? We were in the basement, no one could hear you down there. We were always down there.'
Victim 9 said he was 11 or 12 when he first met Sandusky in 2004.  The coach took him to Penn State football games and showered him with money and gifts, including a tennis racket and a running suit.
The teen testified that he ended up staying at Sandusky's home more than 100 times up until 2009, maybe even 150 or so, sleeping in the basement which had a water bed.
